Page Structure - How the standard plexel page is made up

The Default or Master template is used when making a new page unless you are doing a website when one of the website templates will be used. See New + Website option on the "New" menu.

To create a new page you use the 'New' button after browsing to an existing page. The system then looks in the existing page folder for a template file templte.htm. If unfound then it searches higher folders for it. If still unfound it uses the default template listed here (col 3).

To put the Master template listed here, into a folder, first browse to any page in the folder, then use the 'Folder New: Template' option of the 'New' button. This also puts an entry in the Dicdex if there was no previous folder template.

If you turn on clickboard protection (an Edit Form option) for a template file, then New pages made from that Template do not have a clickboard. This is useful for example if you don't want the clickboard on an invoice template.

A website template is used when you make a new webiste using New Menu + Website option. It uses adverts and assumes you have various additional files in a higher directory, Please email for more details. If you are missing anything then Plexel will use the Master template.
